Begin Team AtlasA Different Kind of Seeing
Every team develops a way of moving together: a way of deciding, of disagreeing, of carrying weight for one another. Most of this happens quietly, in habits so familiar that no one names them anymore.
What is working well can be just as invisible as what is not. The strength holding your team together often goes unnamed precisely because it works, and the friction that quietly costs you the most can look like a personality rather than a pattern.
Team Atlas names both: the strengths worth protecting on purpose, and the patterns worth addressing before they harden further.
How It Works
Each member of your team moves through the same two-part process, at their own pace.
Each person answers a guided reflection about themselves and how they experience the team: its strengths, its friction, its communication, and what it might become. This is solo work, private and unhurried. For every question, each person chooses whether their own words may be shared with the team by name, or folded anonymously into the collective portrait. Nothing is shared without their say.
Once every individual reflection is complete, each member is invited to share brief observations of their teammates: what they notice, what they value, what patterns they see. These observations are never attributed to a name. No one will know who said what about them. This is what allows the observations to be honest.
What Emerges
Andrea reads every reflection and every observation in full, then weaves them into a single portrait of the team as a whole.
How the team actually talks, decides, and moves, not how it describes itself moving.
Where people quietly balance one another, often without anyone naming it aloud.
What the team leans on when a call has to be made quickly, or carefully.
The conversation the team keeps having, and what it may be circling around.
Where it runs deep, where it is still being built, and what has helped it grow.
The unspoken agreements and shared instincts that hold the team together.
Confidentiality
Every observation offered about a teammate is anonymous, by design. No one will ever know which of their colleagues said what about them. This is not a formality. It is what allows people to be honest rather than diplomatic.
Individual reflections work differently. Each person decides, question by question, whether their own words may appear attributed to them in the final report or whether they should be folded anonymously into the team's collective portrait. That choice belongs entirely to them.
The finished Team Atlas is written as a portrait of the team as a whole. It is not a scorecard of individuals, and it is not returned to any single person as a private evaluation. It belongs to the team together.
A Clear Distinction
Who This Is For
Team Atlas is built for groups of five to seven people who already know one another, and who want to understand the pattern they have built.
Larger Organizations
Teams are best understood in the groups that already know each other. Reach out, and we will help you divide a larger organization into its natural cohorts, each receiving its own Team Atlas.
Investment
One coordinator begins the process for the whole team. Each person is invited individually, at their own pace.
