01 What Filoria Offers

Filoria is a life reflection and insight studio. We help people understand the patterns and threads that run through their own stories, drawn entirely from what they choose to share with us. Our offerings include written reflection reports (such as the Personal Pattern Atlas), one-on-one Reflection Sessions, Legacy Sessions, and ongoing memberships (such as Night Loom and Council Membership).

Filoria is not therapy, counseling, coaching, medical or psychological treatment, diagnosis, personality testing, or prediction of the future. Our reflections can illuminate. They cannot define, diagnose, or treat. What you do with what you find is always yours to decide.

02 How Filoria Is Made

Filoria is openly and intentionally AI-assisted. Your responses are received by a structured process that combines multiple interpretive perspectives, and every reflection is reviewed by a human before it reaches you. We do not hide this. We believe you should know exactly how your story is being attended to.

Filoria's founder uses this service on her own life, and holds your material to the same standard she holds her own. Nothing here is entrusted to a practice she would not trust with her own story.

Because reflections are shaped in part by automated systems, and because the work is interpretive rather than factual, Filoria makes no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or particular outcome. A reflection is one thoughtful reading among many possible readings. It is offered in good faith, to be kept where it resonates and set aside where it does not.

03 Tax Status and Service Classification

Nature of Services and Human-in-the-Loop Evaluation

All deliverables, including individual and team PDF reports, provided by Filoria LLC are customized, bespoke information services. While Filoria LLC utilizes proprietary methodologies and Artificial Intelligence technologies to format and analyze initial questionnaire data submissions, every single report undergoes comprehensive manual review, evaluation, and editing by a human professional prior to delivery. The final product is a uniquely synthesized professional service, not an automated software output.

Strict Data Segregation and Exclusion of Benchmarking

Filoria LLC handles all customer data, personal stories, and questionnaire responses with strict confidentiality and privacy. The information provided by you is used solely to generate your specific, individualized report. Filoria LLC explicitly warrants that your data will never be compiled, merged, or incorporated into a multi-client database, nor will it be used to generate aggregated industry benchmarks or comparative statistics shared with other customers. Your report is prepared exclusively for your personal or internal team use.

Delivery Method and Absence of Platform Access

Filoria LLC does not grant customers a software license, platform subscription, or active dashboard access. All transactional fees processed via Stripe represent payment for professional analysis, custom curation, and manual service delivery. Final reports are delivered directly to you as a static file attachment via secure email using Filoria LLC's Google Workspace infrastructure. You do not receive or maintain any control over a software application or underlying code. This is a finished professional service, not a Software-as-a-Service subscription.

Subscription Memberships and Cohort Programs

Fees collected for the Council Membership and Night Loom Monthly Membership represent ongoing subscriptions for rolling professional evaluation services and live group educational cohorts. Monthly reports provided during these memberships aggregate data solely from the individual subscriber's historical submissions to track personal progress over time; no cross-client data blending or external benchmarking is performed. Membership fees do not grant a software license or autonomous platform access, and are classified as non-taxable professional service subscriptions under New York State guidelines.

04 Payment and Pricing

Prices are listed on filoria.org at the time of purchase and are charged in United States dollars through our payment processor, Stripe. Founding pricing, where offered, applies only while a founding cohort remains open and may change for later participants. We will always show you the price before you pay.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes. If a charge cannot be completed, we may pause or withhold delivery until payment is resolved.

05 Refunds

Reports and reflection work

Because each reflection is prepared personally for you and reflects real hours of human attention, refunds are not available once work on your reflection has begun, meaning once drafting of your report or preparation of your session material has started. Before that point, if you change your mind, contact us and we will refund you in full.

Reflection Sessions and Legacy Sessions

A scheduled session may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or missed, are not refundable, as the time was reserved for you.

Memberships

You may cancel a membership at any time. When you cancel, your access continues through the end of the current billing period, and you are not charged again. We do not offer partial or prorated refunds for a period already begun. Annual memberships may be refunded within seven days of purchase; after that, they are non-refundable but remain active through the paid year.

06 Your Stories and Your Vault

The stories, responses, recordings, and materials you share with Filoria are yours. You grant Filoria a limited license to use them solely to prepare, deliver, and preserve your reflections and to operate the services you have purchased. We do not sell your personal stories, and we do not use them to advertise to you.

Material you share is kept in your private vault. For non-members, stories and any session recordings are held for one year. For members, they are held for the life of your membership, which is part of what membership is for. You may request deletion of your material at any time, subject to any records we are required to keep by law and to reflections already delivered.

Legacy features such as The Long Archive preserve the material you deposit according to the terms of that offering, including any page allowances and storage limits described at the time of purchase.

07 Who Owns the Reflections

The reflection you receive, your report, your synthesis, your manuscript, is yours to keep, read, print, and share as you wish, for your own personal and family use. We want these to live with you.

Filoria retains ownership of everything that makes Filoria itself: our methodology, our perspectives and their names, our report structures and devices, our written frameworks, our software, our brand, our seal, and the language and design of this site. These may not be copied, resold, licensed, reverse-engineered, or used to build a competing service without our written permission. In short, the reflection is yours. The instrument that produced it remains ours.

08 Recording of Sessions

Reflection Sessions and Legacy Sessions are recorded so that your stories can be preserved in your vault and, where you have purchased it, drawn into written work. We will ask for your consent to record in advance and again at the start of each session. If you do not consent, we cannot proceed with a recorded session. The recording is saved for you, and you will receive a copy or a link to it.

09 What We Ask of You

When you use Filoria, you agree to provide information that is truthful to the best of your knowledge, to use the service for your own reflection and not on behalf of someone who has not consented, and to respect the privacy of anyone else who appears in the stories you share. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access others' material, or use Filoria's content to train competing systems.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from Filoria.

10 Limits of Our Responsibility

Filoria is offered as a reflective experience, in good faith and with genuine care, but without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law. To the fullest extent the law allows, Filoria LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential harms arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific offering giving rise to it.

Because reflection can surface feeling, we ask you to hold what you receive gently and to seek qualified professional support if difficult material arises. Filoria is not responsible for decisions you make in response to a reflection.

11 Changes to These Terms and to the Service

Filoria is a young and evolving studio. We may refine our offerings, our delivery, and these terms over time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated terms here with a new effective date, and where appropriate we will let members know. For founding members, any pricing protections we have promised will be honored as described at the time you joined, and we will give reasonable notice before changes that affect you take effect.

We reserve the right to evolve how reflections are prepared and delivered as the studio grows, while keeping faith with the promise of careful human review that defines our work.

12 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved in good conversation will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York.
